My biggest concern is: how can we possibly eat 5 meals a day Thank you for the heads up- Mazarine will not be the Atelier on our list!

I must say that I have become a convert to the hand-held shower; it’s just living on the top floor, the pressure is barely enough to moisten me and I fear I’m in dire need of a very good scrubbing. (No one around me has complained, though…)

What I don’t get is the combination of a hand-held shower with no shower curtain. How folks manage not to soak the bathroom, and all its contents, is beyond me.

Yes, Franprix tends to be on the lower end of the supermarkets – but Monoprix is surely comparable to the best of the ones in America! And being able to pick up non-food goods makes it even more worthwhile.

Casino, Champion and Monoprix have come a long way since my first visit and they will rival most American supermarkets. I am a reader of M. Lebovitz’s blog and indeed, have ‘borrowed’ a few recipes.

The main London termini, I mean. Mind you, we did spend a very expensive penny at the Gare du Nord the other day.

Also, surely nobody in their senses can prefer fixed head showers to hand-held ones However do you wash your underneaths, without having to stand on your hands in the shower?
