We went to Divellec for lunch this past week and had a splendid time. The room is indeed gorgeous and we were so charmed by the staff and the room that we went for the Menu Degustation. I suspect they are using some “what-the-hell” pheromones or something because we didn’t go in with that intent. I am so glad we did, because everything was superbly done, from the little fried fish they brought out to start, to the fraises des bois dessert. The star of the meal, indeed the trip was the sole with morels au vin jaune. It’s a top 5 in my life dish. Thank you Alec for steering us here!

Alas, as posted on their website, it surely must be a typo to price 10 ounces of golden caviar for 30E. And I entirely agree about brunch, per what I say in my review, but the menu does look very interesting, and given the quality of the kitchen and service here, I expect it would be pleasant. Once I make it for brunch, I’ll post an addendum to the review.

I suspect a typo, but if one gets 10 ounces of golden caviar for 30 Euros as it says on the website, that’s quite the deal! Even so, it looks like interesting food in a very pleasing room. I’m also not a brunch person, but it looks like a nice place for lunch.
