We took a visiting couple to lunch at Le Bristol in June of '08 and it was exquisite. I remember a mackerel starter that tasted like a delicious cloud. It being June, we sat on the beautiful terrace. And the 3 course menu then was only 75 euros, an absolute steal for the whole experience. Always liked Le Square Trousseau, so will have to try Philou next time we're near Canal St. Martin. Chez Prune is fun, but only goes so far.
